Yesterday was day 1 of starting back on the South Beach diet. It went Ok. I kept having to stop myself from eating bad stuf. I'd think, ooh, a cracker. Then, nope, can't have that right now! I did forget at one point and ate a gluten free fig cookie thing. At least it was gluten free, right? All went well until Mike suggested Blimpie sandwiches for dinner. Since I haven't told him we're South BEachin' it, he didn't know we couldn't have bread. So we had Blimpie for dinner. No biggy. Then, at 10:30 last night, I lost all my will power, because I was really hungry. On the table there was still carrot cake. It was gluten free, again... But that doesn't really matter and I had a really big piece.
I;m not going to tell Mike we're on South Beach again, because he'll roll his eyes at me. The last 2 times we've gone on it, I've gotten pregnant right after, so it didn't last. Why? Because I can't stomach whole wheat when I'm pregnant, and I give in to cravings. Hey, when I'm pregnant I can do that. However, that's also why I have 60lbs to loose... Don't worry, I won't be getting pregnant this time. Daniel's only 9 weeks old and exclusively breast fed, so I have no period yet. When I got pregnant with Daniel, Dagan was 15 months old and eating solids, so Aunt Flo had mad her appearance months earlier.
Speaking of Daniel, I hear him squwaking from the kitchen where he's in his swing, so I'm off to get him!
